HAPPY NEW YEAR Music Fans!!! Hopefully you enjoyed the holidays and are ready to kick off the new year with some great news. We are thrilled to announce that THE CALIFORNIA HONEYDROPS are coming home to Langlois and will be playing at the Cheese Factory on Wednesday May 20th 2026!!

Wahoo! It’s about time! There’s no such thing as too many exclamation points in this case!!!!!!!

The Honeydrops were one of the first bands to play the Cheese Factory in its early days, winning us over with their world class talent and charm. Due to their huge success and fan base, they have outgrown any venue on the South Coast but, fortunately for us, the guys have a genuine fondness for Langlois and are excited to return for a SQUEEZE into our favorite dance hall

Due to the overwhelming response to The California Honeydrops coming to Langlois on May 20th (resulting in a sell out within 48 hours) we are very happy to announce that the band has agreed to stick around and play a second night on Thursday May 21st!
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!

This is a reminder that the ‘locals only' presale window for the Thursday May 21st Honeydrops show closes tomorrow morning, Tuesday 1/27, at 10am.

Sales will then open up to the larger public . This is your last chance to keep it locaAND get a discount.

The promo code - ORLUV - will still work for locals after tomorrow but may expire soon. It offers an $8 per ticket savings on ticketing fees.

It’s hard to have to plan so far ahead but, because there are so few tickets available, timing is a big factor.

Another reminder is that every attendee will need a ticket regardless of age. : (

Lions Club Holiday Fair Nov 21-22 Come One Come All!

Friday, November 21, 2025 - 9:00am

An event to make your holiday season even brighter. The Friends of the Langlois Library and the Langlois Club have collaborated for over 30 years to bring you a stellar event. The vendors are in place selling hand-made wares from afghans to jewelry to quilts and, to perhaps, a zebra potholder. The Friends will be selling their wide assortment of delicious cookies while the Lions will be serving beverages and an amazing selection of desserts.

A new addition to the event: The Lion’s Den will open in the “red room” featuring an unbelievable assortment of good second-hand items and a “freebie” table as well. Of note, all the monies o the non profit sponsors will be spent for library needs and the Lion’s charitable causes and renovation expenses. With this in mind, both organizations would really love and really need your donations to keep our coffers going. The Friends are requesting a cookies and the Lions: any other desserts, quick breads etc. Thanks so much in advance and hope to see you all there. This event will not disappoint.
