22nd Annual Langlois Craft Fair

Start the season with a visit to the 22nd Annual Holiday Craft Fair at the Lions Hall on Floras Loop Road just south of Langlois. The Fair will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 17th and 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is sponsored by the Langlois Lions and the Friends of the Langlois Library.

Talented South Coast artists and craftspeople will be displaying a fabulous array of creations which will make shopping for holiday gifts a pleasure. Whether you are looking for a gift of wood, metal, fiber or locally grown food, you will find unique and surprising gifts at the Langlois Holiday Craft Fair.

Bring a friend and treat yourself to a lunch by Sandie McDonald. Friday, Sandie is serving her incredible chicken pot pie. Saturday, Icelandic Meat Stew and thunderbread are on the menu,. Vegetarian options are available.

An Evening with Prize-Winning Novelist Molly Gloss

Molly Gloss is a fourth-generation Oregonian who lives in Portland. She is the author of five novels: The Jump-Off Creek, The Dazzle of Day, Wild Life, The Hearts of Horses, and Falling From Horses. Her awards include the Oregon Book Award, a Pacific Northwest Booksellers Award, the PEN West Fiction Prize, the James Tiptree Jr. Award; and a Whiting Writers Award. Her work often concerns the landscape, literature, mythology and life of the American West.

 

21st Annual Holiday Craft Fair

21st Annual Holiday Craft Fair- a joint venture between the Langlois Library and the Langlois Lions.

The Fair is known as one of the best on the South Coast with a great variety of gifts and other things sure to please the visitor.

Offerings include wood working items, pot holders, quilts,canned  tuna fish, pottery and much more.   Cookies, books and plants  are being  sold  by the Langlois Library,: baked goods and minature succulent gardens are  to be sold by the Langlois Lions.  The lunches are delicious and the atmosphere full of holiday cheer.  A limited color/ sizes of the  World Famous Langlois T shirts also available  for purchase.
