An Evening with Brian Doyle

Date:

Saturday, June 6, 2015 - 7:00am

Renown Oregon author, Brian Doyle spends the evening with the community.   His first novel,  Mink River features a Oregon Coast community full of unforgettable characters. The novel is  lyrical in nature with wonderful descriptions of , not only village life, but of all the great flora and fauna that abound on our coast. .  You will fall in love with Oregon if you haven't before.  His second novel, the Plover ,continues the saga of one of the characters featured in Mink River as a sequel more or less.

Brian is well known also for his engaging talks, receptiveness and for  just plain being funny.

Well worth a visit to our Library.  This is the first time that we have ever had the opportuntiy to host a prominent author and we are so looking forward to this  " almost famous" event.

There are extra copies of the books at our library, should you want to read them before meeting the author. Read more about An Evening with Brian Doyle
